Roadbase consists of different sizes of aggregates mixed together in specific percentages of sizes. This is to achieve a mix that when compacted achieves a stable base for a number of uses, as outlined below. Stabilizing with cement improves the performance and longevity of the roadbase as well as its ability to compact.

Common uses: Under roads or paths (where the existing surface is boggy or spongy), under paving (at 100mm roadbase & 30mm coarse sand directly under the pavers), cross overs (to ensure trucks don't track dirt onto council roads).

Shelf life: This is a stabilised compactable product which has a shelf life of 2 hours after delivery as it contains cement.
Quantities: This product is available tipped or in 1000kg (1 tonne) craned bulk bags. Economic order quantities to fill trucks are 3, 5, 7.5, 15, 20 and 32-tonne loads.
