Benedict SmartMix® 10 Biofiltration Transition Sand is a medium to coarse washed sand specially manufactured to meet CRC Adoption Guidelines for Stormwater Biofiltration Systems (July 2015). Designed as the transition layer (middle layer), it features a targeted particle size range to ensure excellent hydraulic conductivity, exceeding that of the biofiltration filter media above it.
