A new, specially formulated hot-mix asphalt has been developed to reduce traffic noise levels and to increase safety on heavily trafficked roads in urban and suburban areas. It is made up of gap-graded aggregate,filler, rubber granules and bituminous binder. It is normally used for pavements exposed to heavy traffic, which ensures cohesion and durability. This newly mixed asphalt also contributes to the protection of the environment by using recycled old tyres - of the order of half a tyre per square metre. This product takes up to 3 hours notice for same day delivery.
