Plastic-tipped bar chairs can be used in suspended slabs, beams, vertical walls and slab on ground applications. Heights range from 20mm to 360mm. They ensure placement of reinforcement in slabs. The steel-wire spacer's legs are protected with a film of plastic. They require no adjustment after pouring of concrete. Round metal base plates are used to support wire bar chairs on soft surfaces. This prevents the wire spacer sinking into the ground. Metal base sizes are available to suit bar chairs up to 200mm in height.
