Euromix™ Sand Finish Accent Based (15L) Texture is a premium-grade, coarse acrylic texture coating designed to create a bold, decorative finish over Euromix™ render base coats and other suitably primed substrates. With its 1.1mm rounded sand grain, this trowel-applied product delivers a durable, sandstone-like finish ideal for modern and traditional building designs.

Key Features and Specifications

• Coarse, medium sand texture – simulates natural sandstone finish
• Acrylic-based – excellent adhesion and flexibility
• Pre-mixed – easy to apply with consistent results
• Touch dry in 2–3 hours; fully cured in 24 hours (weather dependent)
• Semi-gloss finish with bold, consistent texture
• Coverage: approx. 0.7 m² per litre
• Shelf life: 18 months (unopened); use within 1 hour once opened
• Excellent weather resistance, crack and chalk resistant
• Good water resistance and abrasion resistance (especially when overcoated with Euromix™ Euroflex)
• Not recommended for high-traffic areas or direct application to absorbent materials like EPS or AAC

Applications

• Applied over suitably primed surfaces such as off-form concrete, cement renders, brick, block work, and fibre cement sheeting
• Not suitable for direct application over PVC, EPS, or AAC – a compatible base coat must be applied first
• Ideal for both residential and commercial building exteriors where a textured, decorative finish is desired

Installation Tips

• Ensure substrates have cured for at least 28 days and are clean, dry, and stable
• Mask off windows and trims; protect flooring and surrounding areas
• Prime surface with tinted Euromix™ Acrylic Primer (match as close as possible to finish colour)
• Mix thoroughly using a power stirrer before use
• Apply using a stainless steel trowel, followed by a plastic float in a circular motion for uniform finish
• Maintain a ‘wet edge’ to avoid joint lines or patchiness
• Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 26°C, or if rain or frost is expected within 24 hours
• Protect newly applied surface from moisture for at least 12 hours (longer in cooler conditions)
