Euromix™ Sandstone AB (Accent Based) 15L is a high-performance, polymer-based texture coating designed to deliver a refined sandstone look with a subtle sparkle finish. Ideal for use over Euromix™ render base coats and other primed surfaces, this high-build acrylic texture is formulated with silicone emulsion and fungicide additives for long-term durability and water resistance.

Key Features and Specifications

• High-build acrylic texture with fine sparkle effect
• Grain size approx. 0.9mm – for a consistent flat, sandstone appearance
• Supplied in tint bases – customisable to any colour (tinting extra)
• Can be applied via trowel or spray for various finishes
• Touch dry in 2–3 hours; fully cured in 24 hours (weather dependent)
• Matt finish with medium texture
• Coverage: approx. 0.9 m² per litre
• Shelf life: 24 months unopened; use within 1 hour of opening
• Excellent water resistance and weathering performance
• Good adhesion – minimises risk of peeling or delamination

Applications

• Suitable for use over primed cement-based renders, off-form concrete, fibre cement sheeting, brickwork, and blockwork
• Compatible substrates include EPS, FC sheeting, clay, concrete, AAC, and tilt panels (must be primed first)
• Not suitable for direct application over PVC, EPS, or AAC without a compatible base coat

Installation Tips

• Ensure substrate has cured for a minimum of 28 days
• Surfaces must be dry, stable, and free from contaminants
• Mask off trims and protect surrounding surfaces before application
• Prime with Euromix™ Acrylic Primer tinted close to the final finish colour
• Stir Euromix™ Sandstone thoroughly with a power stirrer before application
• Trowel Application: Apply to the thickness of the coarsest particles, then finish with a plastic trowel in a circular motion
• Spray Application: Use hopper gun, pressure pot, or texture pump system to achieve stipple or high-build textures
• Maintain a wet edge at all times to avoid patchiness and joint lines
• Do not apply in temperatures below 10°C or above 26°C, or in windy or rainy conditions
• Protect freshly coated surfaces from rain and moisture for at least 24 hours
