Copperised lead sheet. As per AS2904, exposed lead should be of 20kg minimum. To accommodate thermal movement,lengths of lead should not exceed 1.5m length. Where long flashings are required overlapping should occur. Lead resistance to corrosion by the atmosphere means it will outlast any alternative building material.
