Bricktor is a thin gauge steel wire used by bricklayers as a non-structural crack control reinforcement within standard brickwork mortar joints, thin joint aircrete blockwork joints or stone walls. The welded wire mesh is used to prevent or reduce cracking in walls by bonding the masonry units together and strengthening the parts of the masonry panel where it is installed, providing a cost effective and reliable method of optimising the strength and durability of the masonry structure or facade.
