R4 rated products are required whenever something is built:

• Within 1km of the surf coast (where there's waves and salt spray)
• 100m from the coast, in sheltered bays and inlets

• Hot-Dip Galvanised to AS/NZS 4680 overcoated with two protective paint coatings.
• Durability Class 'R4', covering both'C4' and 'C5' corrosivity categories for marine exposure.
• Entire duplex coating system is factory-applied.
• Metal stamped before galvanizing for permanent identification.
