Please note pebbles are a naturally occurring product. While every care is taken to provide consistency in colour, size and shape, these will vary from time to time - please ask us to email you a photo of our current stock if you are concerned with these minor variations.

Economic order quantities to fill trucks are 3, 5, 7.5, 15, 20 & 32 tonne loads. These pebbles are also available in 20kg small bags as well as 1000kg bulk bags and loose tipped off a truck.

Note: Pebbles are subject to weather elements, and as such can not be ordered as specific Wet or Dry product. If it has been raining, your product may arrive wet (and appear as per the wet look image) and once the pebbles dry out, they may appear as per the dry look image.

We keep our kiln dried sand in a heated indoor shed, so it is alwaysclean and dry. ACI kiln dried sand, used to be known as Granusil or silica sand, is used to maintain synthetic grass in top condition. It is an infill dried sand for all types of synthetic grass, synthetic lawns and astroturf. It's also used as foundry sand and as a fine aggregate in mortar and concrete.

Grain chutes allow your ACI sand to be poured straight into your wheelbarrow, reducing the risk of contamination, as well as manual labour. For any tipped delivery of ACI, ask our staff for your delivery truck to be equipped with a grain chute.

Why do I need kiln dried sand for my synthetic grass?
Kiln dried sand serves multiple purposes for artificial turf. It weighs the turf down, keeping it flat and also prevents the turf from bubbling up and rippling due to expansion on hot days. It protects the turf, so it will last longer, and also helps the individual blades of grass stand up, so your turf looks good.

Can I use regular sand?
Regular sand doesn't work well with synthetic grass. Kiln dried sand is so clean that weeds can't grow in it, it doesn't absorb water (so your turf dries faster after rain) and it's heavy (your sand won't blow away).

How much ACI sand do I need for my synthetic turf?
This varies depending on the application. For example, setting up a new tennis court you would need around 12-13 tonnes of ACI, but for topping up an existing court, 1-2 tonnes would be needed. Callus on 8543 3401 and our team can help with quantities.
